Charity Travel and Trek - UK Charity Challenges
With the uncertainty over travelling overseas, our challenge partner Charity Travel and Trek have organised some UK based challenges in some great locations – you don’t have to get on a plane to discover somewhere beautiful!
Sunrise on Snowdon Challenge – various dates between April and August 2021
It’s a wonderful experience seeing the sunrise in the east over Snowdonia, and what better place to be than the summit of Snowdon itself. You could be walking up under a blanket of stars, or in the mist(!) such is this challenge! Snowdon’s weather is unpredictable and may certainly add to the challenge.
Self Fund – £125 per person. £25 deposit + £100 balance 4 weeks prior to departure. Raise as much as you can for the British Liver Trust.
Sponsored – £25 deposit + £200 min fundraising target. Target to be reached 4 weeks prior to departure.
Cycle, climb and canoe Snowdon Challenge
Take on this great 3-in-1 challenge as you cycle out from the start (approx 1 hr ride, primarily off-road), switch to feet for the climb of Snowdon (up the Ranger route, down the Watkins) before getting aboard the canoes to paddle a circuit of Llyn Dinas. The transitions are seamless (no vehicle transfers) so it might feel like a triathlon, but it’s NOT a race! You will be led all the way with safety personnel accompanying you.
April, June and July 2021.
