Patient Advisory Group
Our Patient Advisory Group (PAG) ensures the ‘patient voice’ is embedded even more in key strategy and decision-making processes. The PAG helps us to serve the full, diverse nature of the UK’s liver disease community. The Terms of Reference can be viewed here.
The Patient Advisory Group aims to include a diverse mix of people, including but not limited to, diversity of age, gender, ethnicity, geography, socioeconomic status, and liver condition so that we have representation from as much of our community as possible.
At the moment we are underrepresented in some areas and we are looking for people to join who have one or more of the following:
- Alcohol related liver disease
- Hepatitis B
We recognise that hepatitis B disproportionately affects people from some parts of the world so we are particularly looking for people whose families are from Africa, Asia, the Middle East or parts of South America and eastern Europe.
This role is a volunteer role and unpaid. To receive an application form or if you have any questions please email us at HR@britishlivertrust.org.uk.
