Arranging a funeral collection

Thank you for choosing to support the British Liver Trust at this time - please accept our heartfelt condolences on your loss.

When a loved one passes on, we may find ourselves juggling many different emotions. This can affect our ability to cope with the many decisions we then must make to respect our loved one’s wishes.

Whether your loved one’s wishes were for donations at their funeral, or whether yourself or a family member have chosen to collect donations, we can help you with this arrangement.

Funeral Tribute Page

A Funeral Tribute Page is a special way for family and friends to make an online donation instead. This is particularly useful at this time when numbers at funeral services are restricted. At the same time as making a donation, they can leave a message of support, memory or light a virtual candle for your loved one.

The Tribute Page can not only act as a donation page, but a funeral notice where you can share details of the funeral service such as the location, date and time.

The page can be used long after the service for donations on birthdays and anniversaries, plus for any fundraising events that friends and family decide to do in memory. The Tribute page can be filled with memories, photos, videos and virtual candles at any time.

It only takes a couple of minutes to create a Funeral Tribute page:

In Memoriam envelopes

The British Liver Trust has bespoke envelopes for collecting donations at your loved one’s funeral service. These envelopes will make it easy for family and friends to make their own personal contribution by cash or cheque on the day. Gift Aid can be added to donations, making their donation worth 25% more at no extra cost to them.

If you would like our In Memoriam envelopes, please do email your request and postal address to fundraising@britishlivertrust.org.uk or call us on 01425 481 320.

We can also send these envelopes straight to the Funeral Director if you prefer. Please let them know if you have decided to support the British Liver Trust in lieu of flowers.
