Distance Aware materials

The British Liver Trust are pleased to support the ‘Distance Aware’ campaign, which is an NHS led campaign that prompts people to maintain social distance.

The campaign was created by Helen Iliff, a trainee anaesthetist at Prince Charles Hospital in Merthyr Tydfil, Wales, who has been shielding since March and, like many, was worried about returning to work.

Maintaining social distancing is everyone’s responsibility going forward and Distance Aware aims to provide polite prompting to maintain distance by the use of consistent and instantly recognisable symbolism.

Are you Distance Aware?

Thank you for being Distance Aware

We are Distance Aware

You can also order a lanyard, which enables wearers to request that others maintain a respectful distance.

Order a lanyard

We are asking for a minimum donation of £3 to cover our costs for a single 20mm Distance Aware lanyard. Please complete the form below.

If you are able to, we would really appreciate a larger donation to help us support liver patients and their families across the country - as times are very tough for charities at the moment.

Please note we can only post the lanyard to addresses within the UK and delivery will be 7 to 10 days.
