Andrew Langford, the Trust's CEO is one of the signatories to an open letter to the World Health Organisation (WHO) published today in The Lancet Journal. The WHO is preparing to appoint a new Director General and the letter calls for greater transparency and independence. Andrew said, “The WHO works to ensure the highest attainable level of health for people across more than 150 countries and it’s vital that their leadership is not influenced by commercial companies from the food and alcohol industries.”
