British Liver Trust features in the Guardian’s Your Liver supplement

Posted on: 20th April 2021

One of the ways we can prevent cases of liver disease in the future, and tackle the stigma associated with it, is by working with the media to raise awareness of the condition. That’s why we were delighted to feature in the Guardian’s Your Liver supplement this March.

The supplement included an introduction by the British Liver Trust’s Chief Executive, Pamela Healy OBE, highlighting the three simple steps people can take to improve their liver health. It also included a second story by the British Liver Trust to raise awareness of non-alcohol-related fatty liver disease (NAFLD) and non alcohol-related steatohepatitis (NASH) – a preventable form of liver disease linked to obesity and type 2 diabetes.

The supplement also raised awareness of a number of liver conditions and innovations in treatment.

If you’d like to read the supplement, you can view the Your Liver PDF or find the information online.
