Invite your MP to our Parliamentary event
We are hosting a parliamentary event on Wednesday 15th July. Please write to your constituency MP and ask them to pop in and join us on the day. It will be an excellent opportunity for your local MP to learn more about our campaigns and advocacy work, and we will share tailored liver disease profiles for your parliamentary constituency which highlight the local impact of liver disease to your MP.
The day is a critical opportunity to raise awareness around liver disease and liver cancer and campaign for better services for liver patients, as well as launching Liver UK, the new name for the British Liver Trust and Children’s Liver Disease Foundation.

Liver mortality rates have increased by 43% between 2001 and 2019 and for adults aged 35 – 50 years it is the second most common cause of death.
I would really appreciate it if you would attend the liver disease Drop-In Event in Parliament on Wednesday 15 July, 10:00–16:00, in Portcullis House, Room S. At the event, Liver UK, the new name of the British Liver Trust, will share specific data relating to the burden of liver disease in your constituency and learn more about how we can improve liver health locally and across the UK.
