Recently the Trust has further developed and greatly expanded its range of patient information leaflets; these now include leaflets aimed at health care professionals as well as patients.
Our literature is thoroughly reviewed by leading liver specialists both for accuracy and readability and is also lay reviewed by members of the public. The extended range of publications covers all issues related to liver disease including the highly publicised issues of obesity, alcohol and hepatitis.
Research to date has shown that using health information literature can save professionals time in aiding patient understanding as well as improving awareness of their condition.
